Ramsey is a doctoral student at the Department of the History of Science and Ideas at Uppsala University. She is interested in post-colonial narratives and her research project focuses on Swedish population policy in the post-war period. Ramsey will use Sweden’s unique position in international population policy to further develop an understanding of the morals and values surrounding efforts to control reproduction.
